Pangaea

When the world began to take shape from fire and water, our primordial continent – Pangaea – was born. Only later, as parts of it broke away and drifted apart, did the continents we know today emerge.
I often wonder how the world would look today if we all still lived on Pangaea. Would the geographical unity also shape the way we live together? Would we think differently about peace and social justice – and show greater respect for nature?
Perhaps the key doesn’t lie in geography but in awareness: we are all part of a greater whole. Our diversity is not a hindrance or a threat but an inexhaustible richness that connects us. If we can embrace it, we can rediscover Pangaea – not as a continent, but as a wish in our hearts.

Pangaea

Als sich die Welt aus Feuer und Wasser zu formen begann, entstand unser Urkontinent – Pangaea. Erst später, als sich Teile davon lösten und wegdrifteten, wurden daraus die Kontinente, wie wir sie heute kennen.
Ich frage mich oft, wie die Welt wohl heute aussähe, wenn wir alle noch auf Pangaea leben würden. Würde die geografische Einheit unser Zusammenleben prägen? Würden wir Frieden und soziale Gerechtigkeit anders denken – und der Natur mit mehr Respekt begegnen?
Vielleicht liegt der Schlüssel nicht in der Geografie, sondern im Bewusstsein: Wir sind Teil eines großen Ganzen. Unsere Vielfalt ist kein Hindernis oder Bedrohung, sondern ein nie versiegender Reichtum, der uns verbindet.
Wenn wir uns darauf besinnen, können wir Pangaea wiederfinden – nicht als Kontinent, sondern als Wunsch in unserem Herzen.
